I like the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach. It's a beautiful location you should take advantage of if you're in Delray Beach. The museum and gardens are open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It's closed on Mondays, so plan ahead. The residents of the Delray Beach neighborhood are fighting to prevent the zoning change that will allow the construction of a nursing home in a shuttered Catholic monastery. The TL Management LLC wants to build a 240-bed nursing home in its place but to push with it, there's a need to seek the approval of the City's Planning and Zoning Board. The Christ, the King Monastery of St. Clare, the Catholic monastery, was built in 1967 but, through the years, fell to despair and prompted the cloistered nuns who lived to sell the 10.97-acre property.
